The argentine striker proved the difference in an action packed encounter at the Etihad Stadium, despite failing with one of his attempts from 12 yards, with Christian Eriksen in a solitary reply fo a spurs side that saw Fedrico Fadi dismissed. The game was dominated by forward and talented, it came up some minutes when Erik Lamela was robbed of his possessions of the edge of his own box and Aguero was teed up to ticket a low drive beyond Ligo Lloris. Totteham's response to falling behind was very impressive,with Eriksen calling their attention level inside two minutes as Fernando was caught on the balll and the Dane drilled home via the leg of Joe Hart and the underside of the crossbar.
There was to be no letting go , as Aguero restoring City's lead 20 minutes after Lamela was adjudged to have sent Frank Lampard dancing on the floor in the box....The interesting game ended 4 goals to 1 and was highly thrilling.
